Smallworld is a fully integrated advertising, branding, and entertainment company.

We harness the power of storytelling to build impactful campaigns, unforgettable brands, and award-winning films.

Advertising with a heartbeat

At Smallworld, we create ads that are widely seen and deeply felt. Big moments with big meaning. Conceptualized and produced by the Smallworld team, What Drives You? was released by BMW USA on Father’s Day, garnering a profound response from fathers and sons who shared the touching ad as a way to connect with each other.

Entertainment reimagined

Smallworld's debut feature film The American Kickoff embodies our passion for innovative storytelling. Written & directed by Toby Wosskow, and set to shoot early 2025, this fresh take on the sports genre dramatizes soccer’s rise in America through the eyes of the audacious salesmen who lured Pelé, Beckham, and Messi to the USA.

Branding designed to captivate

A great brand is a story well told. Regent Properties tasked Smallworld with developing a singular brand identity for a large residential community spread across five distinct neighborhoods. Inspired by California’s historic orchards, we created Soleada, a brand united around one philosophy: that life tastes sweeter when shared.

Short films with brand partners

The Oscar-qualifying short film Sides of a Horn was produced by Smallworld (fka Whirlow Park) and exec produced by Sir Richard Branson. Recognizing the profound conservation message in this dramatic film, Virgin Unite, WildAid, and the African Wildlife Foundation came on board to spark a global conversation.

Advertising meets entertainment

When Smallworld’s Toby Wosskow was asked by Stept Studios and 85SIXTY to craft a branded story for Ikon Pass, he developed the concept for My Ikon, a digital series which continues to this day. The pilot episode, written and directed by Toby, takes us on an adventure with Mica, a little girl who sees the mountains as her playground.

Films that push boundaries

Smallworld’s upcoming feature film Last Rhino has the power to tip the illegal wildlife trade conversation into mainstream culture. Now in development, this international crime drama with an ensemble cast is produced by Oscar-winner Cathy Schulman, written by Smallworld’s Caroline & Toby Wosskow, and directed by Toby.

Pairing brands with new fanbases

Directed by Toby Wosskow for MGX Creative, the music video Stars trended #4 on YouTube. Telling the tale of Marshmello’s journey to soccer stardom, Stars introduced the global artist to the world’s most popular sport. Stars and Together, Wosskow’s second music video for Marshmello, have now collectively amassed over 1 billion views.

Campaigns that influence behavior

The Glen and Bobbie Ceiley Foundation asked Smallworld to create a rhino horn demand reduction campaign for Humane Society International to change hearts and minds. Working with Vietnamese director Kathy Uyen, and informed by consumer research, we developed a branded short that airs on all Vietnam Airlines flights.

Films based on real events

At Smallworld, we bring true stories to life on the big screen. An Unfriendly Act reveals the enthralling story of an American doctor and a diplomat who enter North Korea to negotiate a hostage release. In development, this political thriller is written by Juan Bustillo and based on an award-winning article by Doug Bock Clark.

PSAs for a small world

Directed by Toby Wosskow for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, this cinematic PSA brings the refugee experience closer to home by highlighting a universal fear of being new. Released on World Refugee Day, the PSA’s message aligns with the Smallworld mission: to make a big world feel small.
